Crafter's Night
This event has become the BYOC (Bring your own Chair) ;). event at Gate City
Yarns. We have run out of seating a couple of times it is so popular! Some folks
are bringing folding chairs. This night is a great opportunity to hang with other
crafters. Spinning, weaving, crochet, and knitting are all going on. There is a big
time show and tell. There is no charge for this event. It happens monthly on the
third Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm! Everyone is welcome. And now we have the
fireplace working!

| 2010 Summer of Socks Contest! First-- the fun stuff! From June 9-August 1, 2010 buy fingering weight yarn for the project of your choice! We will give you 15% off the cost of your yarn for this project at the time of your purchase. When you bring your completed project back for judging, we will give you a coupon good for 15% off your next fingering weight purchase. Next-- Summer of Socks Guidelines 1. Project must be made with fingering weight yarn purchased at Gate City Yarns between Tuesday, 6/8/2010 and Friday, 7/2/2010. 2. While this event is all about socks, there are many different items that can be made with fingering weight yarn. Get creative and show us your talent! 3. Your completed project must be turned in for judging by First Friday in September, 9/3/10. 4. Coupon for future purchase must be redeemed by Sunday, 10/31/2010. 5. Winners will be announced at the Gate City Yarns' Second Birthday party in mid-late September. 6. The decision of the judges is final and binding. |
