Classes
Class policies: 1. There are no refunds for class fees unless we have to cancel. We
will attempt to reschedule and classes that are canceled. If a class is unable to meet
due to weather, we will make every effort to reschedule for a similar time. 2. If you are
not satisfied with any class that you take at Gate City Yarns, we hope that you will let
Carl or Tina know ASAP! 3. Payment must be received before your place is held in
class. Our class generally have waiting lists and we want to make sure that all places
are filled. 4. We will allow you to substitute someone in your place is you are unable
to make a class. Substitutions can only be made for the entire series of classes. 5.

| BASIC SWEATER CLASS Instructor: Timmie Ballard Learn the basics of knitting a sweater including swatching, measuring for size selection, shaping and assembly. Skills required: must be able to knit, purl, cast on, decrease, increase and bind off. Class dates: Saturday January 14 & 28, February 11 & 25 2:00 to 4:00 PM Cost: $40.00 |
| STITCHES WITH KNIT AND PURL Instructor: Brigitt Heger You know how to knit and purl. Learn how to create different stitches patterns using the knit and purl stitch. A cable stitch will also be thrown in! We will be making Ann Norling's 'Stitch Sampler Scarf. Pick any color worsted weight yarn (450 yards). | PICK A PATTERN - ANY PATTERN Instructor: Brigitt Heger Come and knit a pattern of your choice. Help will be given if and when needed. Learn from other knitters patterns. You need to know how to knit and purl. Class Dates: Sundays 1/22, 29, 2/12, 19, 3/4, 11 11am- 1pm or Wednesdays 1/25, 2/1, 8, 15, 22, and 29 10am-12pm Cost: $60. |
